Overview

RAM is an owning partner of the Combat Support Associates (CSA) Joint Venture Partnership (JVP) supporting the U.S. Army CENTCOM-Kuwait.  This is a Base Operations, Maintenance, and Support Contract to operate and maintain three permanent Camps (Arifjan, Buehring, & Virginia), non-permanent Camps (Navistar, K-Crossing, Ali Al Salem Army Life Support Area (A-LSA), and Kuwait Naval Base A-LSA), and three Ammunition Supply Points in the state of Kuwait.  We provide the complete spectrum of base operations support for all equipment and facilities, including operator, direct support (DS), and general support (GS) maintenance for military vehicles and weapons, power plants, and other facilities; security; all supply and services functions such as warehousing, fixed and mobile fuel supply operations, and ammunition supply points; operate transportation motor pools; conduct integrated training and range management operations; provide information management; and administer environmental, health, and safety programs.

Support for Operation Iraqi Freedom
We maintained the fully operational, pre-positioned equipment set, with force protection ammunition loads, in Kuwait for arriving forces. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, this pre-positioned equipment grew to approach a full division size unit and was ultimately issued to U.S. Army forces. The equipment was ready for onward movement and integration within six hours after arrival at Camp Doha. We provided support services activities ranging from supplemental equipment issues, to forward repairs of fuel pumps and vehicles, to network connectivity and strategic communication links for three major Headquarters in Iraq. In several instances, we provided Class I through IV support to the entire theater of operations until Army systems could assume the mission. We responded to increased service demands in supply, receipt, storage, and issue of medical supplies to support three hospitals and the V Corps, and quickly and efficiently responded to requirements for increased network speed and security and increased communication systems capabilities. During this period of extremely heavy supply and services support requirements, we continued to meet or exceed 12 of the 14 Department of the Army supply performance standards.

Property Management/Logistics Support
The JVP standards for accountability and control of government-furnished property include maintaining 95 percent of ASL lines, posting all stock records, processing priority requests and material readiness orders within one day, and maintaining authorized stockage levels at a zero balance with excesses reported within five days of identification. We consistently meet these standards; thereby, optimizing the logistic support we provide to our customer.

Training Support
The JVP has an extensive and varied role in training its own employees and customer personnel. We design, develop, and present training curricula for new hire orientations, on-the-job-training, continuous process improvement, safety and security, and rotational training exercise instrumentation. Additionally, our Training Support Center provides our customer training and maintenance for audio-visual equipment and training devices.
