System Engineering

RAM provides assessments of end user requirements in terms of system engineering, system definition and requirements specification, preliminary and critical design and documentation inputs, program management support, and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for new capabilities, modifications to existing capabilities, and expectations for future growth. We have applied this capability in support of information system, aviation, test, training, and logistics applications.

Software Engineering
RAM provides a complete software engineering, development, and maintenance capability to support network software requirements, software migration, adaptation of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, development of custom applications, and to provide life-cycle software maintenance. RAM performs detailed evaluation of software requirements with the functional proponents, examines related supporting software documents, and assesses the effects of proposed software modifications on system software reliability. RAM software engineers describe the automated processes being developed and identify the sources of data inputs and outputs for the process. To ensure accuracy and completeness of the application, we establish and define validation values to support software testing.

Test Engineering
RAM is experienced in supporting government and industry testing requirements, including test planning; software; and data collection, reduction, and analyses. RAM test engineers develop test events that result in appropriate data to enable assessments of the degree to which test objectives have been met. RAM has provided test engineering support to Advanced Warfighting Experiments (AWE); Joint Service tests and exercises; Missile Defense Agency (MDA) issues in integration, interoperability, test, and assessment; and other requirements.

Network Engineering
RAM develops network solutions from the ground up by applying engineering expertise in cabling and infrastructure support, network services and software, and associated hardware. RAM supplies engineering support and technical analysis in the areas of network design, information systems security, and implementation of advanced Windows NT Server technologies. RAM has successfully integrated multi-agency systems operating with a wide variety of platforms and operating systems.

Specialty Engineering
RAM supports instrumentation systems, data links, and environmental test drivers. We have completed reverse engineering of several threat systems. RAM has collected extensive information from existing manual/automated processes, documented this information, and used the information to create recommended business process changes.
