Logistics Support
RAM maintains a
professional Logistics staff experienced in support of mission critical
defense systems. Our Logistics staff possesses a diverse mix of military and
industrial experience and is capable of supporting logistics activities
throughout a system's life-cycle. This staff of professionals provides RAM
customers the Logistics Management expertise to ensure the efficient and
cost-effective attainment of the logistics objectives.
Logistics Support Analyses (LSA)
RAM's LSA expertise includes: Logistics
management Information data products, LSA records data, spares and repair
parts lists, long lead time items lists, reliability, availability and
maintainability analyses, and other logistics support requirements. RAM
analyzes operator and maintenance requirements to determine the required
support equipment, software tools, numbers of spare and repair parts down to
the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level, and consumables and expendable
materials. Through coordination with contractors providing life-cycle
support, we verify that fielding plans, maintenance actions, and support
structures align with maintenance concepts and requirements.
Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
RAM provides operations and maintenance and
supply support services at operator through depot support levels of
maintenance. These activities consist of, but may not be limited to;
workload data analysis, preventive maintenance, repairs and modifications,
or assembly replacement for tactical and nontactical vehicles and equipment.
RAM also provides planning, scheduling, and control maintenance actions for
required equipment. As part of these activities, RAM provides input and
maintains management information systems, to include Standard Army
Maintenance Information Systems (STAMIS), which consist of system
resolution, performance of systems security, and systems administration.
Range and Facility Support
RAM provides
logistics support to logistics centers, ranges, and other facilities and
implements industry standard purchasing programs and procedures, property
accountability systems, and inventory and warehousing systems. Our services
include hardware and software related support associated with operation and
maintenance of live fire systems, test instrumentation, and voice and data
communications systems. We design and develop data collection plans,
scoring rules, and data analysis plans in support of logistics requirements.
